Sanna Petander - Soulwork Artist
My work moves between what is seen and what is felt.
I am drawn to the quiet spaces where opposites meet.. light and darkness, the inner and the outer, the visible and the unseen. My process is intuitive, shaped not only by material, but by lived experience and a deep curiosity about what exists beneath the surface of human life.
Through organic forms, light and texture, I explore inner states.. the ones we carry silently and the ones that connect us beyondwhat is visible. Having worked closely with people in vulnerable life situations, I am especially drawn to what is often hidden; strength, fragility. transformation and the quiet resilience that exists within us. Some works are light, almost weightless, reaching toward stillness and something beyond.
Others are grounded, raw adn protective.. rooted in teh physical and instintive. Alongside this, there are also glimpses of the everyday; samll human moments that remind us of our shared reality.
I do not seek a single expression, but move between states.. between the subtle and the tangible, the spiritual and the human.
At its core, my work is an exploration of presence.. of what is, even when it cannot be seen.
